Join us for a dynamic 3-hour concealed carry course held on a Saturday from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Nolan Town Center, 905 SW Rimrock Way Suite 100A. Aligned with Oregon's ORS 166.291 requirements, our class emphasizes handgun safety and proficiency without live fire. Delve into the intricacies of revolvers and semi-automatics, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly. Explore the firing sequence of a cartridge and essential shooting fundamentals of grip, sight alignment, stance, and more. We will discuss Oregon Law and Federal Laws involving the use of deadly force, the Safe Storage Act, red flag laws, and homicide/suicide prevention. Bring food/drink for the work through lunch in the classroom. This class is appropriate for ages 14 and up. As of this date, 11.13.23 the Certificate of Compliance that you will receive after completion is good for your life in Oregon.

After completing this class, you will be given a Certificate Of Compliance. Take it to the county Sheriff’s Office to apply for your Oregon Concealed Handgun License. Present the Certificate Of Compliance, original birth certificate, and Oregon Driver’s License. At the appointment, complete an application, have your photo and fingerprints taken, pay $115 in fees to the county, and undergo a federal background check. Upon successful completion, the Oregon CHL will be issued to you by mail.

Private classes for 5-15 individuals are available; contact Sharon Preston at 541-788-5858. Register promptly, as spots fill quickly. Complete your registration, submit, then finalize your enrollment with VENMO or BUY NOW. Please be aware of our 10-day reschedule/cancellation policy. No refunds for rescheduling/cancellations beyond this window or for no-shows. Elevate your concealed carry proficiency with us.

NO LIVE FIRE IS REQUIRED. We recommend that you already are proficient at shooting handguns before taking this course and/or make arrangements for live-fire training before carrying concealed.

Photo taken 11.13.23: The RED color indicates that the state honors, or recognizes, your permit to carry and you are allowed to carry your firearm in that state (subject to that state’s law). There are two different ways a state will recognize your permit. The first way is through a formally signed agreement (usually by the attorney general of each state) called a reciprocity agreement. The second is through state law of the recognizing state. Many states will have laws that dictate what permits they will honor. Oregon does not recognize any other state permit to carry concealed. You must be a resident of Oregon to apply for your Oregon Concealed Handgun License.
